The America took the 790 cc Bonneville twin and gave it a laid-back cruiser makeover: forward controls, low seat, pull-back bars, long chrome silencers and a wide rear tyre. A 270-degree crankshaft gives it a lumpier exhaust beat than the Bonneville. It suits relaxed riding better than quick progress.
